Hi all! My name is Jen and I will be traveling with my boyfriend Kris to Walt Disney World in October 2012, Royal Room at POR! We also have a 2 night cruise planned in June 2012 out of NYC on the Disney Magic. So excited for both! It will be our second trip to Disney World together. Last time we went with a group of my family and friends. This time it will be just the two of us. The cruise will be celebrating his birthday and the WDW trip celebrating my 30th so these trips are going to be special I'm new to these boards. I work as a TA and I was directed to CTD by a client of mine. I've gotten so many great ideas from this site to add to my Disney fund! I've decided on $1750. This will include all of my spending money for the cruise and WDW. It breaks down like this: Cruise - $500. I know that seems a bit much for a 2 night cruise but Kris keeps talking about the spa and I'd like to buy him a treatment for his birthday. They're not cheap! Walt Disney World - $1250. $1000 for spending money and $250 specifically for a Dooney & Burke Disney bag to treat myself for my 30th! I have an ING saving & checking account and opened a separate saving account on it for Disney. I've just deposited $33.70 in it. I'm on my way!

Disney will be so much fun at Halloween time! I have a dvd of their cruise lines and they look amazing as well. Great job with your savings! I really like your idea of putting unused portions of your budget into your Disney fund.

I love Disney during the fall. It's the best!
Thanks! I have an idea of what I usually spend each paycheck on gas, food, etc. If I have anything left over, it goes into the fund! Every little bit helps!

Made another deposit today! I'm a TA so we get commission from hotels, car rentals, packages, etc. Usually it's just a percentage but for our own personal travel, we get the full commission back. Kris and I stayed at a Ramada last month in the Poconos and the commission came back to me yesterday, a check for $15.58. I put that right in the Disney fund this morning!
Grand total is now $72.88 out of $1750. $1,677.12 to go!

Another small deposit, $6.98. Kris and I are saving for an apartment, planning to move in together October 1. Most of my money is going toward that. After we get settled, more will go toward the fund. Still, every little bit helps! Grand total $79.86/$1750. $1,670.14 to go.
