Added another $7 deposit today. New grand total $374.10. Slowly coming along. After the holidays are over I'll be able to start saving a lot more!

$18 deposit - leftover lunch money from the month of November. I put all the remaining singles into a jar at the end of every week.

Paypal rewards are awesome!  Made a deposit of $25.17 today bringing my grand total to $439.74. $1,560.26 to go! I also cashed in some SR points for a $50 Disney gc ;D That will help in paying off our trip. I cashed in MyPoints for a $25 Landry's gc as well. I can use it at T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe. I'm hoping to get another one at some point next year. Also, for every credit card we sell here at AAA, we get $15 in Corporate Rewards that we can use to trade in for gift cards. I used some for stocking stuffer gifts and got an $25 Amex gift card for myself that will be used for the trip Christmas shopping is done! I do 90% of my Christmas shopping online and am waiting for 1 or 2 things to be delivered. After I wrap those, I'm done! I'm ready for Christmas! Our work holiday party is today and we did a Secret Santa exchange. I wonder who got me.... Happy Holidays! |

I made a deposit to my fund today of $19.84. That brings my grand total to $459.58. $1,540.42 to go!
I've been perusing airline fares lately. So far Continental is the only company that has them published for our dates. I'm thinking of staying an extra night because it's cheaper to fly back on a Monday. I'm going to wait until the JetBlue fares are out to make a decision. I'd much rather fly with them but if CO is cheaper, I'll deal.
Can you believe NYE is tomorrow? The holidays flew by. So much preparation for something that is over so quickly. I am kind of happy its over because that means I can really save now! I've also been trying to pay down my CC debt, I have about $1300 in debt and would like to pay most of that off before we go away. I think I'm going to add a ticker for that to keep me motivated.
I did get a few Disney related gifts for Christmas. A couple holiday knick-knacks for the house, Disneyland Adventures for XBox Kinect, and a $35 Disney gift card. So far I have $85 in Disney GCs. That'll come in handy for my DDP or ticket.
