POR is an awesome resort and have refurbed some of the rooms. If I am not mistaken some of those rooms have a murphy bed in them. Not sure about rails but do know you could probably request one. As far as crowds go check with touringplans.com. I think it is $11 or $12 for a yearly membership and will tell you what the crowds are anticipated to be like during that time. We went this past weekend and I use their recommendations. Pretty much on the money!

We have set a date! My husband finally agreed to go - so glad I continued to save! We are going at the end of September 2012 during the free dining. However I am continuing to budget because we would like to fly, plus I am thinking about renting a crib, and we would like to rent a car since we have a toddler and may have to leave unexpectantly. We also want to go to MNSSHP and a water park! I made another deposit: $165.09 in coupn savings, $100 credit card rebate, $35 in rebates, $25 swagbucks, $59 from surveys, and $30 in target gift cards from buying things. I wait until I have $50 in Target cards and then use them to buy a $50 disney gift card at target. I added $414.09. Our total is [glow=red,2,300]4343.67/5000[/glow]! I've got 5 months to save another $650!

I don't think you will have to rent a crib if you are staying on property. I know they have pack-n-play's available so they may have cribs also.

Could your two year old sleep in a pack n play? Disney provides them free. They will also provide bed rails if you request them. We are staying at AKL with our 12 year old and 2 1/2 year old in Dec and got bunk beds & requested the guard rails. Hopefully it works!
Great progress! You have awesome deposits! I just started saving really so I need to get a move on. Thanks for inspiring me!

I don't think I can get her to sleep in a pack in play, she never would before.
We took her to disney when she was 7 months old, and the pack in play did not work out well. She woke up every hour.
She really likes routine, so I was hoping the crib would be a "signal" for her to go sleep, like it is at home.

I totally understand! I'm nervous about the bed rails because right now our son is 21 months and still sleeps in his crib! I will have to make sure to transition him a few months before I think. He's very active though so I'm worried he won't stay in bed!
Does your daughter sleep in a crib or a toddler bed at home? I'm a big fan of routine and mom knowing best so just trust your instincts, even if it means saving some extra cash for the crib rental!

She is turning 2 this week and sleeps in a crib. I am in no hurry to transition her to a toddler bed because she is a constant tosser and turner and also likes to stick her legs out between the bars. Plus i don't think she would grasp the concept of staying in a bed when she can hear her 2 older brothers up. The crib is a signal to her that shen needs to lay down and go to sleep.

Good news and bad news, we had to buy some necessary things for an emergency, so I took all the money I had saved from coupons, so now I have to save a lot more since that took over $1000 from our vacation fund. Good news is that I have earned enough southwest points for the five of us to fly one way to disney. So I am going to drop down the budget by $600. Anyways, I made a deposit in June from surveys & rebates and also many of my friends gave me disney gift cards for my birthday! So I have a total of [glow=red,2,300]$3746.20/$4400![/glow] We leave at the end of September!
