Ok, getting started working my way back up again!! My hubby is going to be replacing the used money on Monday. Until then, I was able to deposit $20 this week! Found some super great deals on next years clothes for the kids from Old Navy and JC Penney, so took out cash and had $20 left over!! =)

I agree with the connecting rooms at a value resort if I was staying on site. If I decide to stay off site then I use VBRO.com ;D

Just think how much you really really want to go. Isn't it worth the money? I do the same thing, but really you are going to remember this vacation for a long time. Maybe you can save a little money on your resort. I didn't wanto to submit an answerfor your poll because I haven't stayed at all of them. It also really depends on how much time you spend at the resort too. Since you will be going in September, and it is most likely going to be gorgeous weather, you may want to look at the pools and things at the resort - you might spend some time here in the afternoons.

Wasn't able to get papers in time this week for coupons. Kind of a bummer. Had school, big career changing class. So I am going to devote the paper money to the fund.
$15 added
$472/5000

Ok... Got down to the nitty gritty with Kelly from Disney Guru. Got a price quote for Art of Animation: Finding Nemo room and the Disney Dining Plan. Budgeted our flights (estimate since it is so far away), accounted for tips, mousekeeping and spending money for the kids. My first estimates did not hit the nail on the head... Soo... Drum roll please..... Budget totals: 6 nights AOA, DDP, 6 tickets (no waterparks/hopper):............4591.78 (including taxes) Flights:............................................................................1600.00 (approx) Dining Tips/Mousekeeping/meals not on plan..........................300.00 (approx) Spending money for 6 people ..............................................500.00 (approx) ..................................................................................Total: $6992 Wow. Now I know there are ways I could have cut back to make it less, but after talking to my husband in depth, he really expressed that he wants it to be as stress free as possible, and he's not as much of a fan of connecting rooms with our 4 kids. I know a lot of people drive to cut back, but living in Texas, we really want to fly to save time and keep us from starting off exhausted. Plus we can only get one week off, so it would take away from our vacation time to drive. Ok, so what really has me in a grid lock is the dining plan. Some say it's worth it, some not so much. My husband likes to eat well for special occasions. Le Cellier is right up his alley. The kids would think the world of eating in the castle, and I really want to experience Ohana dinner and Tusker House breakfast. So for those reasons I figured it's worth it to go ahead and get it. If we can't save up for everything, then I will cancel the DDP and figure out a way to eat cheaper... So, that sums it up! Got a check in the mail, refund for an overpaid hospital bill! Woohoo! $50 added $522/7000
