Family of three (our baby will only be 10 months old, so no charge for her!)Vacation Dates: Dec 17-Dec 24 2010Resort: Wyndham Bonnett Creek ResortGoal: $1000 by 12/17 ($890 to cover tickets, food and souvenirs and $110 to cover Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade Party-we do not have to pay to stay at Bonnett Creek Resort b/c my husband's family owns a timeshare there)What we're doing to save: I am occasionally babysitting in the evenings and on weekends while my husband is at home with the baby(this is the most effective way I've found for me to make at least $75/week and still be able to stay home with my baby during the day). Also, trimmed down our "entertainment" budget to only $80/month, saving any "found" money (ex: our bank sent us a $100 just to say thank you-unexpected but wonderful!); trimmed Christmas gift budget to only $200 total (for all 14 family members/friends!!), using coupons as much as possible!! Amount saved as of 7/23= $205[glow=red,2,300][/glow] Once we get back from our Christmas trip, I'll start saving for our June 2011 trip!!

Looks like we will be there at the same time. We leave the 19th and will return on the 1st. One tip for you about the Very Merry Christmas Party. Wait until it is time for the party to begin to even visit the park. My husband and I went several years ago for our 15th anniv. We were only there for 5 days with a 3 day park hopper. We spent one day on the park hoppers the same day we went to the party. We were still able to do everything we wanted during the party time! To us we wasted a day on our hoppers and could have spent 4 days in the parks!

We enjoyed the party. Mickey and the rest of the gang are dressed for the holidays. The parade in the evening is different and they sell hot cider and such at verious places in the park. If I remember correctly most if not all of the rides were open. At different places through out the park they have stage shows. The one over behind Buzz Lightyear had a group playing out the Night Before Christmas. I am surprised that there is not more info on the site espically since the is an extra charge.

*I'm babysitting M,W,F, S and Sun this week (whew, a busy busy week!). I usually don't do this much each week, but I figure I might as well work as much as I can while my mom can babysit until she has to go back to work (she's a teacher).
