Here is my new plan:

March 24th-March 30th in Disney World, staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, regular room with free dining upgraded to deluxe.

We will leave on Friday and stay overnight along the way(south of Atlanta). We will also stop on our way home overnight (probably near Chattanooga). We are driving. We are paying out of pocket for T-Rex on our arrival day (but have gc from mypoints to cover it, also just heard a rumor that it may be on the dining plan in 2012). I am also sending my little girl on the pirate adventure. So here is my proposed budget.

*Dining plan/resort/tickets-- $1490.95

*Gas (hoping to have some more gas cards)--$150 (minus 2 $10 gas card so far)

*T-rex- $35 (already covered by gift cards)

*Tips/other meals- $200 for Disney (have a few gift cards for food on the way,Subway, Panera, olive garden and will be packing the cooler lunch the first day)

*Hotel 2x-$150-(have enough points to get free rooms right now, but we could use them before March)

*Souvenirs- $200- want a Mr. Potato Head (the big one) and an album for sure

*Mousekeeping- $12

Pirate Cruise- $31

This is just my part, I am splitting some costs with my mama.

Any thoughts? Anything I left out?

Just figured out that I forgot to add photopass. I will be splitting this with my mom so it will be $50 to pre-order. (Thanks Kristen for the post, it sparked the thought)

Total- at worst (if I use my hotel nights) 2268.95

Yea!! Met my goal!!! Of course my goal has changed slightly...but still feels exciting!! Especially since we pushed the trip off a little. I have no doubt I will make it! I added $66 to the fund today from a yard sale (we have had the worst luck with our two yard sales...bad weather, good weather with big events going on, really just two really poor yard sales this year). Oh well, we donated everything but the kid stuff and I am going to try a big consignment sale that happens twice a year in our area. I will update with my new goal.

I am very excited that our two yard sales have allowed us to check gas off our list of things to budget for!!

Nice! You're gonna meet your goal, no problem! I'm planning on using MyPoints to cash in toward a T-Rex Cafe gc as well. I have a long way to go! lol. We also get incentive rewards at my job called corporate rewards that you can trade in for gift cards. I'm pretty sure T-rex was listed there too!
