I saw posted on a blog or facebook (honestly cant remmber where exactly, sorry) the other day that Lowes had curtains on clearance up to 75% off. ;D Considering you can look right in all but my bedroom and dining room windows we thought we should check it out. Glad we did... sort of... 
We found sheers that were $19.99 marked down to $4.99 that we decided would be good for our family room. Needing 5 of them this seemed great!! Until... we decided to get plain panels to hang over them for privacy ($10/each only got 4 of those)... then all the rods (simple cheap ones for the sheers and decorative ones for the panels. 2 normal size windows, 1 triple wide window)... and hooks to tie them back... UGH!
$145 later we left Lowes!! So now we have to find time to install all the rods and hang the curtains... and be creative with the fact that they are actually going to be too long!!!
So... we were very excited over the great deal on the sheers... too bad the rest of the things weren't as cheap.
