Thanks! I think we've decided to go ahead and buy the SOCal City pass. It seems to be a great deal and we will be down their for at least a week.

Great job! Almost to your goal! What does the SoCal city pass include? Just curious as I've never heard of it before and I'm from SoCal!

It includes a 3 day park hopper, 1 admission to universal and 1 to seaworld however if you purchase through universals website, you get 1 additional day there and same as Seaworld. I believe it's about a 33% savings. We are still undecided though. Hubby dosen't want to pay the extra in gas to get down there.

It seems like a pretty good deal to me. I think if you were going to do more than one day at Sea World you might want to get a hotel for the night in San Diego so you don't have to do as much driving. I'll be honest, the traffic is bad, but it's a fact of life there. I'm not sure though if you have hotel reservations already, but that would help cut down on the amount of driving you have to do. Both are fun attractions though and I think 3 days is more than enough for Disney.

We were gifted a week in a timeshare in Anaheim so we will be staying there. We are Disney Junkies so I think we are going to just go with the 5 day non hopper passes....Oh decisions decision....

We just got back from Disneyland last week and we paid for the hopper passes and totally didn't need them. We only park hopped on the last day and I don't think it's worth the extra money to be able to do that. We did it because we could not because we needed to. Have fun!!

I used a park hopper, but I would normally just go for the day since I was local and wanted to do both Disneyland and CA adventure. I hope you guys have a great time!

Well, we've had to move up our date to the 21st instead of the 28th....The person that gifted us the timeshare backed out at the last minute, so we are now having to find a hotel, no biggie...It's just an extra expense we hadn't planned on, oh well, we aren't going to let anything get in our way, LOL....

it's frustrating but we booked a really cheap hotel at one of the good neighbor hotels. it was less than 360.00 for the week so as long as it has a bed, shower and fridge, I'm happy

Awesome price! And while an unplanned for expense, you're right, all that really matters is you have a place to rest so you're ready for adventure every day!

Wanted to let everyone know, we had a WONDERFUL time! We went a week earlier and it was the best decision we could of made. We are now saving for our next trip and so far we have about $20.00 in change in the fund....We are unsure exactly when we will go but we are going to plan better this time.
