Do you ever get any sense of doubt that you will be able to save enough in-time? If so, what do you do to counter that?

Doubts?

I worry about this. We have a tight budget and I'm a stay at home mom. Trying to contribute and raise the money for our trip on my own. Although my husband did offer to recycle aluminum cans to contribute. I have to keep reminding myself that every little bit adds up. So while my deposits may not seem like much, in the end they will amount to a great vacation. I also am trying to focus on consistency. I feel like I'm treating taking surveys like a job because I'm hoping to see the payout for them soon! Things seem to be pending forever!

All the time!!! I want to book for February but I'm afraid if I book something will come up and I won't be able to come up with enough money.

If I have to I will find something to trim off of the budget. Like taking sandwiches and snacks in the park instead of buying lunch.

The question you have to ask yourself is, "Can I afford this trip?". Having the money and being able to afford it are two different things. If there is no emergency fund in place and you're spending every available dime to head to Disney, then you can not afford it.

I was talking more about what I budget for Disney not in our everyday budget. Our kids will also typically share a adult meal instead of buying two kids meals.
