I know!! But I obviously need more that $2500 for the trip... Airfare alone will be at least $1000. Sigh! But if I can come up with $2500 then surely the regular family account can pony up for airfare! I have a consignment sale coming up and hope to make at least a few hundred there.

Quick add on to today's deposit! My 4 year old had a bee in his bonnet to go through his books. We took a few bags to the used book store and came back with $27 for the fund. Also ordered a $10 Disney giftcard from Disney Movie Rewards. Also adding $1.27 from my coin purse to make the number even and pretty. TOTAL DEPOSIT: $38.27 $1485.00/$2500 ~ only $1015 to go! Now I need to get cracking on my consignment sale items and maybe listing a few things on eBay...

So I was just goofing around on the WDW site and plugged in some October dates as well as airfare. I knew I needed more than my savings goal, but a moderate + airfare for 4 + 7-day tickets came to $3,491.56. I think I want a moderate for the bigger beds and pool slide for the kids. I am a-OK with being in a value, but husband is not really a Disney guy so this would be better in his eyes, I am sure! Nice to know a ballpark amount. Without airfare just the room and tickets are $2,259.16. Not sure what kind of airfare deals I can get these days... $1,200 is sadly probably about right! Now wouldn't it be great if there was free dining this fall for me? I am getting greedy...

If you check in the last day of the current free dining promotion, you will get it for the entire trip.

Husband gave me a $40 VISA giftcard he got from work a year or two ago and has never used. Gonna turn that around into a Disney giftcard so I cannot spend it! Also got $1.35 from the four year old. new total: $1564.35/2500 ~ $935.65 to go!
