I'm not really sure which section this post should go in so I'm just guessing this is the best spot for it. If I'm wrong, I apologize. Anyone remember the Neutrogena Clinical deals that went on about 2 months ago? The one with the full rebate and that was supposed to be an awesome money maker?
Basically, there was a rebate for up to $40 on it through Neutrogena itself, and the Clinical products retailed for $39.99. There was also a $5 off coupon floating around for it. Rite Aid, of course had their $5 off $25 coupons, you'd pay $29.99 for it and you were supposed to get $39.99 back in rebate from Neutrogena. (There were other rebates such as Single Check Rebates from Rite Aid that sweetened the deal.)
Anyway, if you took advantage of the deal, have you received your rebate check from Neutrogena yet? If you did, how much was the amount for? I JUST got my check today and it was for $34.99. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be $39.99 like everyone said on various blogs. It just didn't make sense if you use the $5 manufacturer coupon, but most bloggers insisted that's what Neutrogena was supposed to give back. I'm not complaining one bit, it was still an awesome deal, but now I'm curious what people have gotten back from Neutrogena. I think it'll help us better understand how rebates and such work for future purposes. I think there was a big misunderstanding on how this one should've worked.

I have not received mine yet. I don't think the issue was the fact that they deducted the $5 coupon, but rather ECBs, RR, and gift cards were also deducted from some rebate checks.
