Well, my name is Kelly. I am married. Have 3 kids (20yr old & 18yr old daughters not at home anymore. 16yr old son still here) Hubby works full time and goes to school. I babysit more than full time at home (125+ hours every 2 weeks! ) I am going to start stashing cash as I have done in the past. Not to save for any certain thing, just so when I want/need it, I have it. Before our vacation this summer I had stashed over $300 in a few weeks that I used for a new waterproof camera and some new clothes. Hubby loved that I had the money we hadnt accounted for anything else that I could just spend. ;D Mostly my savings will come from my babysitting. For the most part, my parents pay by check and that goes in the bank towards bills and day to day life. When I do get paid cash I keep what I want and give the rest to Hubby to stick in the bank. I do have thoughts on what I would like to do with my "mad money" but nothing set in stone yet. As of this minute I'm starting at $0 but hey, gotta start somewhere... there is only up to go from here! {Now, ask me about my Amazon gift cards and thats a whole different ballgame! I am saving my swagbucks for Amazon cards and saving those to get a kitchen playset for the playroom!! Taking forever to save enough!! I currently have $32.90 sitting on Amazon. $5 to come from swagbucks at the end of the month and $6.30 sitting in Opinion Outpost}

Well... I'm back to $0 again. I used the money I had to get a small love seat from Ikea for in the playroom (having only 1 chair to share when the family hangs out in there with the little ones just was not working) and the rest went towards the toilet & faucet set for my sons bathroom remodel. The faucet was on clearance & the toilet was on sale ($98 instead of $160). I figured I should get them while the getting was good and cheap! I am very happy with the things we got and we really did need them so... back to saving... Hmm... I wonder if I'll ever actually get to that $1000 goal??

Nothing new tucked away I actually had to stop watching one of the babies so that means my savings are on hold. I will still try to tuck a couple dollars here or there but unless I pick up another little one to watch, this is going to take a while! (I still have 3 that are all here various days, not full time) I want to take a little time to get my son back in school and get everything balanced out here at home before taking on another one.

Well, things just keep getting better and better (please note sarcasm). After giving up watching one little one (for my sanity) Last night I found out another one wont really be here much over at least the next 4 weeks. Yay me. Its possible instead of only being here 2 or 3 days each week as he has been that he could start being here 5 days a week.... eventually. Thats good but it doesnt help much now! Looks like I better get busy earning more money doing surveys and swagbucks for a while LOL
