Has anyone seen the new/old Main Street Electrical parade in person yet? How is it? I have seen photos and video and really want to share it with our kids.

I have not seen it since it has been back. I do remember being upset that it was replaced with Spectromagic. I hope it hangs around for a while. I can't wait for my kids to see it!

I just got back for a weekend getaway to see the parade and it was wonderful!! I felt like I was 8 again.....my husband and I sat on the sidewalk for 2 and a half hours to have the perfect spot to see it!! It was worth every penny!! When the music started I got chills, it was great!!

Hi ladies. I am needing help on planning this. I am not able to get prices for next summer. We are wanting to celebrate my son's 5th birthday during our time at Disney. We want to stay at the Pop Centry one. Can you help me. Also I am not sure about this park hopper and dining.

I'm planning to stay at Pop Century next Summer as well! I've only stayed at the Value Resorts because I only need a clean air conditioned room to sleep (we spend alot of time out of the room anyway!) but I haven't been to Pop Century yet! mkaleokalani, since you can't see Summer 2011 prices (which will be higher than this year-the prices always go up sometime in January) you just gotta guess-timate for now! There are always specials that start in Spring and the Summer Specials usually aren't available til after the first week in June. You usually can book a Summer special up to 3 or 4 weeks before June but the travel dates are after the first few days of June and after. I know from experience that if you book a package or room only and a Special starts later, you can cancel and rebook your same trip dates with the new price. The only thing about that is that they made me pay a new deposit for the new lower price. They cancelled the original booking and refunded my money (which took about 3 business days to get back to my account) and then I just turned around and paid the balance on the newest reservation. It was worth it since I saved a little over $200 with the new deal! Ok, I'll shut up for now.....I could go on and on! I'll get together some of my favorite WDW trip planning tips and suggestions and post them so everyone can read and add or correct with info they have!

The first was so crowded and my hubby had to put my little girl on his shoulders so she could see because we were so far back. Filled up very early. My family went to ride a coaster during the second parade and I was walking around the shops...ended up watching it right out of the gate...no crowd at all!

I have really looke into the Dining Plan and I priced out just 3 Sit Down Resturants. For my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 pre-teens) It is worth us to pay for the Plan that has 1 sit down and 1 quick servous meal. Even though we may not eat everyday at Disney it will still save us on the resturants that we want to eat at. As far as the park hoppers. It is nice to be able to go to what ever park you want to go to. The other thing is on the length of days you go. We are going for at least 6 days, possibly 10. It makes it nice to have them because if you make reservations at a resturant then you will need to also plan on seeing that park for the day. They give you flexabilty. I hope this helps
