I am fairly new to couponing. I aspire to be great at this once I get going! LOL! After recent trips to CVS, I think I've gotten the motivation to "keep on keeping on"! I went shopping with a friend July 4th weekend. We stopped by CVS and I got 2 bottles of Dawn with Olay, a Gillette Powerglide Fusion (for hubby), Ponds Cleansing Cloths, and a "ready to eat" bowl of Kraft Mac and Cheese (for my son) for $9.80!! EEP! I had coupons for the Dawn and Mac and Cheese (got those 3 for FREE!!),had a $4 coupon for the Razor and also got $5 ECB back, so it's like I got the razor for $1 (give or take a few cents!), and $1 coupon for the Ponds, which was on clearance, for $3. I was on SUCH a high!! I took my $5 ECB matched it w/ a $1 coupon for Bounty paper towels (got a $1 ECB back for this purchase); so I got 8-pack Bounty paper towels for FREE!! Yee-ha! I then took my $1 ECB, paired it with $1 coupon for Charmin toilet paper( got back another $1 ECB) so I got the Toilet paper for $2.49!! So I got both for $2.49!!! Sorry this is so long, but I'm still floating and have been telling everyone that will listen about this! Is it weird that I can get such a high and be so giddy about saving $$? Am I the only one?!

I've been couponing for about 10 months and my family is tired of hearing about my brags - so I "get" the desire to post your deals! It's so nice to share a good deal! I love CVS and try to always have some ECB's on hand so that I can "buy" products for little to no out of pocket. CVS's system is generous in that their ECB's don't expire quickly so I can use the bucks from this week to pay for next week's ECB deals. I'd really like to build up more but I usually have around 5 in my coupon folder. I love Kristin's matchups and I recently found another blog just about CVS to check - try cvssimply.blogspot.com/ for more on the CVS system.
