Planning a trip for June of 2011! We want to stay at POP and be on the Dining Plan!! I am a wife and mommy of two: DD soon to be 8 and DS6! We went last year and had to take a more economical vacation this year, but we are heading back June of 2011!! My fund is a little slow, as I don't get paid in the summer!! I am also semi-new to coupons! So I hope my fund really takes off soon! So far I have $20 in rebates!! My goal is to have $2400 in cash and get the rest from our Tax return!

Great start! I'm semi-new to couponing, too, so you're not alone! Good luck in reaching your goal!

remember a great way to save is to get your kids disney gift cards for major/minor holidays! Santa knew just how much you wanted to go see mickey so instead of stocking stuffers heres a $25 gift card for souvinears... let family members know that you are planning a trip and so instead of yet another toy they will play with for 5 minutes disney gift cards... get the kids involved as well.... if your state does can returns start collecting cans with them and have them help rinse them out and put them in the can return at the grocery store... (heck i do can returns it may not be much but it sure does add up with my soda habit and other wise its 5c that im just throwing away)
Good luck! I love the Pop! its my favorite value resort!

This year I started talking to him about all the extra things we wanted to do at Disney (we are doing the wishes fireworks cruise) and would he rather put the money from bottles towards that, well let me tell you he said yes and know every penny he finds or earns or gets from the tooth fairy goes towards our Disney Fund.

I love all the encouragement!!! We do not need any more toys!!! I love the gift card idea!! We also do a chore chart and all the $$ they earn gets turned into Disney Dollars. They are only 6 & 8 so its not much, but every little bit helps!

Got a $3 rebate check today! I can't wait till next month, when all my coupon savings will go to Disney. Right now with school around the corner, every bit of extra goes there!

Once you can start to put your coupon savings into the fund, I bet it will add up quickly! Great start!

Putting in your coupon savings will add up quicker than you think! I have put $1314 into our fund since starting May 21st with a $15 balance. $285 of that has been from coupons! Roll the loose change also. $133 so far just from change! $100 from payroll deductions. $20 from Lightspeed. And the biggie is the other stuff like unexpected sources like getting more back on a refund, what is left over from bi-weekly budget, impulse buys that did not get bought, lottery winnings, etc.....that has netted me $776.

what state do you live in that gives 5c for cans? I save cans but turn in for a very small amount because we get paid by the pound - it really is a tiny amount.
