We would like to take a big road trip next summer. My oldest will be almost 8 and the youngest will be 2. We have a few places on the 'list' so far and want to make this a fun and educational vacation (the kind of vacation we never had as kids)!!

We estimate that we will need about $5000 for the two week vacation, expenses, and a rental van!! So far, there is nothing in our fund for next summer. We leave this Friday for our road trip this summer (we'll be gone for 10 days for this one), so once we get back we will begin our saving and planning!!
