When do you go back to school? I just booked a last minute trip on Friday for the last week of August for $2,300 at Port Orleans with the free dining. And I'm a family of 6 (ones a baby so they don't charge for him)
I've gone through allseasons travel for both of trips to disney when they have had the free dining and both times they have been a lot lower than booking directly through disney. I just asked her, do you have anything under $2,500 and she called me back and said she found something.
So all the money I'm saving through rebates and stuff will go towards next years trip. This was just a bonus!

Well...I bought myself an expensive birthday gift, so my rebates and such for a little while will be going towards that. It's a shame because I already have $20 in cash and about $70 in rebates. It's okay though, because I don't usually buy things for me. And, I think I deserved it

Well, technically I should have added $150 to the fund today from rebates and items that I sold, but I'm using the money to pay for a last minute road trip we took earlier this week. Oh well

I'll be making a deposit hopefully in the few days. I have some rebate checks and yard sale money to deposit. I did add $50 in Disney Visa Rewards. I received an offer for $200 in rewards when I open a new account. I messaged them online to let them know that as a valued customer, I was disappointed that I was unable to take advantage of a great offer. So, they responded by awarding me $50 in rewards dollars. They've already been added to my account. I am ecstatic. That's $50 FREE dollars for me.

I'm adding $105 to the Disney fund. It was some rebates, survey checks, and money from selling some stockpile at my mom's yard sale. I need to kick it into high gear or we aren't going to make it!

How much more do you need to meet your goal?

How much more do you need to meet your goal? I still need about $2100. It will be tough to make my goal, but I feel like we'll be able to make it. I just need to keep doing my rebates and coupon shopping.

Do you use cash when you shop? I try to use cash for all of our small purchases. All of my change then goes into a jar and gets rolled about once a month. That is a easy way for you to build your fund.

Ummmm, I don't really work with cash for a number of reasons. When I do have some cash, it always gets spent very quickly on something stupid, and I do of course put the money in the change jar. Right now, I am using money from rebates, selling my stockpile, and surveys. We also budget $75/month for vacations. I am hoping to have luck with my stockpile sales around Christmas time (great stocking stuffers) and am looking forward to a great yard sale in the spring. I really don't know if I will make my goal, but I think it will be quite close.

Updated to add $150 to total for September and October. Each month we take out $75 for the vacation fund...everything else comes from being a savvy shopper.

I'm having so much trouble getting my Disney fund moving. I haven't been able to make deposits lately for a bunch of reasons. Now, I'm facing a significant expense...so no more Disney fund until that gets taken care of. Hoping to be back on track before the new year.
