I think that we have decided to enjoy Disney once again. Much to our surprise, we all loved it last time we went. We learned several things since our last trip that we are going to try and use on the next one.
We were coming home on a wing and a prayer as far as money goes last time because everything was way more expensive than we had ever dreamed.
We will be flying out there again so that's a big chunk of change, we're over estimating it to be @ $2000. Hoping to get a on sometime when they are offering free dining but if not, probably another $1000 there.
So in total, we are looking at trying to go with a $5000 budget for everything.
$5000 Needed - $7.00 initial deposit - .02 not sure how that got in our account but it's there $4992.98 Still needed!

Thanks! I'm trying to find creative ways to raise the money rather than taking directly out of our budget. Here are a few of the things I'm doing:
coupons - but only for these I would purchase anyway recycle cans - We hold them until the price is good and then make the trip to the facility or combine a trip to the facility when we are going to the COOP anyways for chicken feed Swagbucks - just started this year but so far have gotten $15 in Amazon gcs MyPoints - I use these to get gas cards and then put that $$ in my savings or use the gas cards instead of cash when we fill up on our trip
If anyone else has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I use Inbox Pays for paid emails. I never do any of the things they try and get you to do extra, I just read the emails and click the confirm button. I started the first week of June and have almost $11 in the account, and can cash out at $50. Regular emails are worth $.02, but often they send some worth $0.15 or $0.10. Easy money. Can't wait to see how it goes to cash out.

First they came to my spam box, so I had to fix that.

Candy - The next time Kristin posts about Pinecone research taking applications go for it. They pay out $3 a survey and will not send one to you unless you qualify. Some months I get 2 or more a week and some months I may only get 1 or 2 period. But it is a lot better than having to accumlate points. I still do points based companies but only those that pay the points in a paypal transfer.

Here is a list of the things I am doing to (slowly) build my Disney fund (get ready to read!!! ): - Swagbucks: cashing out 700 SBs for $5 paypal
- MyPoints: same as you! using for gas
- Bing Rewards: there is a $25 Disney gift card on there for 3000ish points, but the program ends Dec 31st so idk if I will have enough points for that by then there are other things on there though for fewer points... gas, restaurants, Amazon, etc. We'll see how many points I have by Dec 31st
- Zoombucks: I'm saving up for a Walmart gift card since they can be used at Murphy gas stations on Walmart property & at Sam's Club
- Quick Rewards: other people make tons super fast on this site but it's a slow earner for me... you can cash out at any time with Paypal but they have Disney gift cards too as well as your regular Amazon, restaurants, etc.
- Simple GPT: probably saving for a Visa prepaid gift card on here
- Sunshine Rewards: saving for Paypal
- Checkpoints: saving for CVS cards (to buy snacks, sunscreen, etc.)
- Upromise: you can cash out at any time!
- Saving Star: cashing out at $5 for Paypal
- Recyclebank: saving up for a Walmart gift card for the same reason as listed above...
- Inbox Dollars: you cash out at $30; I started about 3 weeks ago and have $11
- Pampers Gifts to Grow: probably saving up for an Applebee's gift card
- Disney Movie Rewards: I'll probably save up these points for a while and use a Delta vacations e-certificate for some distant far off Disney vacation lol
- My Coke Rewards: Disney GCs have been prizes before, but right now there are Restaurant.com gift certificates and hotel gift cards that look enticing...
- Kellogg's Cars 2 promotion: Kristin talks about this one a lot! 4 points from participating products (1 product = 1 point) gets you a $5 Visa GC
- Kimberly Clarke Cars 2 promotion: same as above but with K-C products and the points vary by product... 50 points = $10 Visa GC
- CVS summer gas card promotion: trying to see if I can get a $10 gas card one of these weeks... probably not gonna happen lol
Ok sorry for that huge list! ;D But that's everything I'm doing, in addition to rolling coins and doing what I call "skimming." I work a part-time job (I'm in college so my main "savings" project is for grad school) and we cash our checks every week at work... any ones I get go to the Disney fund. On the weeks I get a bigger paycheck than I was expecting, I'll also add a five in there. That's in addition to doing rebates like Kristin talks about. (Whew... are you exhausted after reading that list? ) Btw... my main reason for saving for Paypal and Visa gift cards (and the like) instead of Disney gift cards is, God forbid, if something happens where I need the cash I've set aside for Disney... I'll be able to use it straight away instead of having to try to sell a Disney gift card that can only be used, well, for Disney!
