When I was trying to figure out new features for the board, I thought a message board would be great! I've been active on Proboards in the past, so here's a few tips I've learned.
1. All the Add Tag buttons have features. If you hover your mouse over each button, it will tell you what it means.
Clicking on them will activate those features. Clicking on the B will insert coding into the post. You need to post between the 2 codes for it to work. For example, clicking on the B will insert the following . You need to type in between those 2 codes and everything in it will be bolded. You could also type out what you have to say, then highlight the part you want to be bolded and hit the b.
2. You can insert pictures in your posts, but they will need to be hosted elsewhere. My favorite site is www.photobucket.com. It's free and it's easy to use. Simply create you an account, upload the photos, copy the IMG code, and then insert that code into your post here on the boards. When you hit post message, the picture will appear.
3. You can edit your posts by clicking on Modify. You can even change the titles!
4. You can send people personal messages by clicking on their name and selecting send a message. It will appear in their Private Message box (located near the top of your screen.)
5. You can add an avatar and change features and more by clicking on profile near the top of the screen.
