My family and I are seriously missing Disney World as last year we scaled down our vacation and got a deal for a 3 day trip to Busch Gardens during which of course we at least took a short day trip over to Downtown Disney. We could not be that close and not do SOMETHING Disney related. It was just too tempting. So we are starting to plan our trip for this year and are planning on going in October!! I haven't set a specific budget yet so I don't have a goal yet but I have some specifics in mind that I know I want to include such as: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloweent Party, Aquatic Seas Tour at Epcot for DH and 13 yr. old DS, hair cuts for all the kids at Main Street Barber Shop including a first ever haircut for DD who just turned 3!!
Including cash saved, Disney Reward points and some gift cards from rebates and such our Disney fund currently has: $856.60
I have about 5 different survey incentives that are about to hit $20 to be cashed out as well so I will be updating that shortly!! I LOVE planning for Disney!!!

$856.60 is a GREAT start and I am sure things will add up quickly! Have you done haircuts at the barber shop before? When we go back I will bring the whole family (I brought my 6 year old daughter last November). My daughter will want to do BBB again, but I was trying to figure out what my son would want to do. That might work!

We have gotten our boys hair cut there several times and they LOVE it. They do a regular haircut and then my boys usually get their hair spiked up and can pick 3 colors to be blended in and then they also put in Mickey confetti. They also draw a Mickey mouse head on the back of their heads as well. It is the highlight of their day. I don't know how to post a pic on here or I would let you see how it turns out. The only downside is it takes a hour or two for the dye in their hair to completely dry so we just have to remind them not to touch it but it's usually not a big deal.

I'm not completely sure what my goal is yet. We finally sat down last night and started gong over where we'd possibly like to stay, what extra things we might like to do like MNSSHP or the Aqua Seas Tour for DH and DS (13), etc. so once we nail down all of those particulars I should have a goal to put up. We also just paid off our Caravan so starting tomorrow I'm going to start putting a portion of that payment into the fund each month since we're already used to making a payment anyway!!
