Well, my 30th birthday is rapidly approaching and I have decided to take a look at my life and try to make healthier choices... I'd love to give my diet and exercise habits an overhaul. I will be healthier and hopefully lose about 30 pounds in the process.

I know what you mean girl! I am trying to eat better and exercise myself. I hope to lose 25 to 30 ponds before we leave for disney!

me, too! Could use more motivation! I need to lose *many* pounds. I just went shopping last night with my dh to buy running shoes. My goal is to lose 30 pounds before my trip in 09/11!

OK!! It is time for me to get down to business. We have 48 more days until we leave! I have got to get some of the weight off of me!!!!! I have done this before so I know I can do it. My first plan of attack is to get myself back into drinking water and only having one diet coke a day and that will be at work. I also plan to walk every evening at the local park. They have a track that is just under a mile. I also plan on watching what I eat. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!

I too would also like to join the thread if you don't mind. My 30th birthday is coming in January and I would love to lose 30 by 30 lol. I am currently taking it easy because of a knee injury that happened in February but I would love to have some people to help motivate me to take the eating down a notch and make better choices
