Thanks! Finding it hard to stay motivated and keep up on surveys, etc. with the pending move. We keep going back and forth on what we're doing and when the whole family is moving so I think once we settle on that it will help.

My husband and I talked and decided to move the trip up a week or two and change to a cheaper hotel. With the impending move we have less money, but he'll be traveling so much for his new position we don't know when we'll get another chance to do Disney with the kids. It could be a few years. So I'm aiming to save about $3000 now and am hoping to make reservations at Art of Animation. Also still hoping I can get a military discount so I will probably call and switch dates and hotel then hope they can apply the military discount if it's extended.
$50 - In-laws paid me back for tickets to our oldest's sons play.
Total deposit: $50 Total Savings: $1,130.20
I have got to get back on my survey regimen. Hard right now as we have family in town this week so I'm hoping next week I'll get back in the groove!

And the new military discounts have leaked out! Tickets went up about $20, but still a great deal! It's going to save us a lot and make the trip possible! I'm going to call and change our dates probably Monday when they say the official press release will be so I can apply the discount! I can't wait to officially have our new budget for the trip!

I need to get back into the survey groove too. I did pretty well last month but I know I could've done better. I have to start plugging away at Sunshine Rewards. That's the quickest way I earn Disney money!

We got our reservation adjusted and saved over $2,000! I need $2,600 by October so I've got to get a move on! Then I just have to buy our tickets before we leave. It was cost us about $450 for those I think, but we might buy an extra day without park hopper so we have five total days. Since we'll probably be taking nap breaks for the little one I think it could be useful and we love park hopping on our last day to ride all our favorites one last time! I'm so close to cashing out on Opinion Outpost, but just haven't had any luck. Now that I've gotten our reservation sorted and restaurants booked, etc I'm going to focus on making the money to pay for the trip! Well, and planning my son's second birthday party. I had a dream today that I had nothing on the morning of his party so I think that was a sign to hit up the dollar store and get working on the decorations and party favors!

$50 - Youngest son's birthday
My parents sent the youngest DS a check for his birthday. I put it in the birthday fund and figured we could buy him something out of pocket, but he has so many toys and such I think Disney is just as worthy of the money! He's two so he can't argue much!

I survived the party! It went well and I didn't break the budget throwing it. Although we picked up some extra goodie bag stuff at the last minute that we didn't end up needing unfortunately from the Dollar Tree so I have to exchange them if possible because they don't do refunds. I think everyone had a good time and my little man was spoiled rotten that's for sure! I need to work on toy storage here now that he has so many new toys.
But back to Disney, we're so excited! Today I downloaded a free ap for my phone called My Disney Experience! I can't wait to check it out!
$120 - Cashed out airline miles (Have a credit card, but can't fly the airline since they don't fly out of our local airport. My husband and I both have accounts, I cashed out his for now.) $20 - Opinion Outpost $6 - Pinecone Research
Total Deposit: $146.00 Total Savings: $1,326.20
We are officially HALFWAY! Woo hoo!
