We got back from a great spring break trip at Disney on Sunday and I am ready to go back. I realized that one week is just not enough time. I would like to make my next trip eight days in the parks with two whole non park days in between and no parks on arrival or departure day. It takes two days there and back (and really could be three). So our total vacation time will be two full weeks. I have no details yet, but would love to go in October or December of 2013. I figure I better start saving ASAP and work out the details later. I also have 50 pounds to lose before the trip (I lost 20 before the last one). I will be back to my goal weight!!! My first deposit will be the gift cards that I had leftover from this past trip. $95/$ ? 0lbs/50 Budget- (in progress) tickets/resort/dining plan- photo pass plus- $200 gas- $300 hotel down and back (two rooms)- $300 souvenirs- $250 tips and other meals (outside of dining plan)- $250 mousekeeping- $36 MNSSP- (if October)-

October is a great time to go. Make sure you attend Mickeys Not So Scary Party and bring extra cash for Food and Wine Festival.

Added another $25 to the account. I had two disney visa rewards cards with partial amounts on them left from Disney World. I thought I would have to use them at the Disney store before they expired. I then realized that I could use them to buy a disney gift card. So that is what I did.

I love Disney in October! The combination of MNSSHP and Food & Wine Festival is tough to beat!

How are the savings going? Not great...we have done a lot this summer and spent a lot of money. So I have not made any deposits lately. My little girl broke her wrist yesterday too, so all my future Staples rebates will go into paying medical bills. After that I will hopefully get back on track!

I hope she will be ok. I hate when little ones hurt like that.

Poor baby! I hope her wrist heals quickly! I broke mine when I was young and remember being in the pool with my cast in a plastic bag! I had to stay in the shallow end and hold the cast up out of the water or just hang on to the edge of the pool! Hope she's not in the cast too long!
