I know that last time that we went it was in May. It was nice. The reason why we are picking November is because of the Mickeys Christmas Party. You pay extra for it but it is worth it. The good thing about going in September is that both water parks are open. During the cooler months they will rotate each year on what park is opened. September is really humid and hot. I work at a call center and when customers from Florida call in I ask them when is a good time. November seems to be the best for temp wise. We have state at the POFQ before. I liked it but it has a horrible lay out. We are going to stay at a value resort. They have a new one opening up. The room size are about the same. So depending on the age of the children it might be better to stay at a value resort. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks! I think we have decided on November. I researched POFQ and the Art of Animation prices through Disney's site. I had to look up in October since November isn't posted yet. It seems like AOA will be about $500 cheaper for us, but I am wondering how crowded and large the resort will be. We kind of like smallish. Hmm. We'll see. Thanks for the info!!

Anybody up for starting this up again for 2012? I have about 25 lbs to lose before my summer Disney trip. Also, has anybody done any of the Run Disney events? I eventually want to do a half marathon.

My day 1 did not go well. We had a lunch at Maggianos with our Sr VP. Never a good place to go on a diet. Today will be better!

Oh count me in!! I have 20.4 pounds to lose (as of last Thursday) to meet my goal for a Disney trip in March. I have 70.4 to lose total. I just joined Weight Watchers and have started doing the Jillian Michaels (I think is her name) 30 day shred.
I have a 3 points per week goal for the first seven weeks.

I would really love to keep this thread active. I know that I need all the support I can get.
So, what is everyone doing to day to stay active?
I just finished my 30 day shred video. I have some housework to do and then I think I will do the video again before i hop in the shower. I figure I might as well while I am already yucky!

well the first week i lost 7 but this week i dont think will be a loss.I am thinking i am not eating enough as i have a base of 1220 calories on myfitnesspal and i know they say you should eat the exercise calories but most dont. I have been doing zumba lots and also curves. I will be uping my calorie intake a bit over the 1220 depending on my workouts that is and see if that makes a difference next week
I have joined out local sports stores contest where i will earn $3 per pound on gift card and then i joined the curves bust your butt where i could win up to $1000

Another weekend went by w/o me starting my diet! Today is the day. I'm all stocked upon Smart Ones from Target (using 2 coupons and getting a $5 gift card of coarse) and got some Egg Beaters (also w/ a coupon) for breakfast. We have a gym at work, but it's $20 a month. Thinking about joining up again. I also have one in my housing development that is free, but by the time I get home at night, I can't find the time to work out. Is $20 for convenience worth it?

I know for me it would be. That is $20 a month to get fit instead of just thinking about and hoping to get fit. I know that if I am paying for something I want to make sure that I get my money's worth so I am less apt to slack! You will also be getting it done before you leave work and start winding down for the day.

I finally made myself bring my stuff to work today. I drink meal replacement shakes for both breakfast and lunch. I love them. They are by Vidalus Sciences and are the only shakes that I will drink. Didn't step on the scales this morning so I won't have a accurate weight loss for this week. And I have decided to pay myself $1 for every pound I lose and add it to my fund.

So I joined my company's gym yesterday. Packing my stuff to go today. Our trip is almost booked for the 2nd week of July so I've got to get moving.
