My emergency fund is down to $113.78. Both of my front tires went flat within days of each other so I had to get two new tires. That's what the fund is there for right? I started selling some things on E-Bay a couple weeks ago, mostly books. So far I've made a little over $100. I'm planning to apply half of whatever I make to my CC balance and the other half to my savings. I'm also still plugging away at surveys and those are going into my savings account as well. I made $20.50 last month through SR and have almost $25 coming to me this month from I-Say. Work has been super busy! January is Disney Month and since the 17th I've had 10 bookings. My quarterly commission checks should be nice & high so that will help me out as well! I was able to file my federal but not my state taxes yet. I should be getting around $1200 back. Now to figure out what to do with it Hope all is well!

I took some of my ebay money and split it between my savings & credit card payment. About $42 went to my CC. Small but it's better than nothing! I had to leave some money in my PayPal account for Ebay's cut and incase I have to refund someone. I shipped their books but have no tracking info available! I hope it gets there!

Thanks Tanya! I finished the month with 11 Disney bookings. That makes me smile because I know I'll be getting great commission checks this year lol. I got a little bit of extra pay in my check this pay period due to Disney night - an extra 3 1/2 hours is always nice. So I put some in my savings and a little bit toward my CC debt. I'm chipping away! My e-fund is back up to $179

Thanks! My tax refund was deposited into my account this morning. I put some toward my e-fund which is now up to $535 and a huge chunk toward my credit card debt, $500+ Still waiting on my state refund which will also be split between the two. Big help!

Just hang in there!! Those small payments really make a world of difference... It's much easier to say to ourselves that they are so small they don't matter and neglect to send them but that means NO progress is made... keep chugging!

Small progress is better than no progress!
Received my state refund today. Put most of it in savings and put $25.50 toward my Disney visa.

I couldn't wait to get my refund so I could put it toward debt lol. Weird.
I made $160 on Ebay this month. I put half in my savings and half toward my CC. Yay!

I know what you mean. In the past we never considered using our refunds to pay bills down or off but after learning what is more important I wish we would have done this years ago!

Me too! At least I know where my refund is going. A few years ago I couldn't tell ya! Received a little extra in my paycheck this week so I split it up between my cc & savings. Another $48 toward my debt! Since January I've paid a little over $1,000 toward my debt
