I hate stinking property taxes! Way to much money if you ask me. Glad you was able to make that payment on the student loan.

It is a lot of money... :/ My house was reappraised at a much higher amount so this payment was the difference on the county tax... I still have to pay the difference on the local tax, which is due in November...ugh.. Oh well... My goal hasn't changed - all debt but mortgage paid off by January 2015.. I can do this!

*sigh* More setbacks.. Escrow in mortgage account is low.. Starting 12/1/12, my mortgage rate is $110 higher/month... Ouch! Still gonna keep chugging but this is really gonna impact my debt payoff for sure...

I understand that also. Our payment is going up also due to escrow. About $50 a month so that blows the extra I was paying by rounding up

Well punched the new data into my budget software for next year and it's doable, just tight. Gonna maintain the current savings balance as an emergency fund, but not kill myself to contribute as much as I was with each paycheck and continue focusing on debt repayment. Made $300 payment to be applied Friday - new balance $3000.

Payday! The OT I have been picking up is helping and was able to make another payment towards the big loan, bringing it down to $2500!! I never thought I would get below $4000, then $3000, and now well on my way to $2000!! I am happy!
